Todays radio programme ("What I hate about my medical plan" of 24-Apr-2013) discussed the concept of intellectual fineprint in the contract of medical plans.
Intellectual fineprint refers to the circumstance where the wording of the contract can have different interpretations. Also recognized was the fact that different interpretations can occur merely because different individuals have different understanding about things, and their understanding or frames of reference colours their interpretation of the contract.
In that context the difficulties of Plan Administrators in communication their intentions to their members was raised as an issue that should be appreciated.
What are your ideas about intellectual fineprint.
